Staff Bios

Hi! My name is Tony and I am the founder and senior tutor of M&M Academy.

I have gained over 12 years teaching and coaching experience, both within schools and private education, as well the personalised and professional training required to be a successful Taekwondo Instructor.

I started my guitar journey at the age of 8 when my Grandfather taught me ‘The House of the Rising Sun’ on his twelve string acoustic guitar and my love of music has blossomed ever since.

My Taekwondo journey began at the age of 11 and my first TAGB instructor was grand master Brian Towndrow who was and still is an inspiration to me. I have since participated in multiple championships winning gold, silver and bronze achievements, gained my 3rd Dan Blackbelt and trained to become a qualified Instructor.

I love what I do and want nothing more than to share my knowledge and help others to learn to love what they do too.

Hi! My name is Wendy Feng (1st kup Taekwondo student) and I am the Welfare Officer for M&M Academy Taekwondo.

If you are a current student at our club and you need any assistance or would like to speak with somebody, privately or otherwise, I’m here to help. Just use the ‘contact us’ form and ask to speak with Wendy.

I am a mum of two children, a son and a daughter who are both students of the club. The only exercise I used to do was running around after them. February 2015, two weeks into watching them at Taekwondo classes I decided to join.

I wanted to improve my fitness and learn something new and it was the best decision I made. It’s great fun and a challenge, I love it!

I have gained experience in chaperoning and supporting children in various activities such as Taekwondo and dance competitions and I always ensure they have the encouragement, care and support they need.

In my limited spare time I enjoy food, all aspects of socialising and travelling to new places as much as possible.

I have completed the TAGB Basic Safeguarding Course and I’m DBS checked.
