Welcome back! We hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter break! Here’s our seasonal update for you. Please have a read through and get in touch if you have any questions.
MUSIC STUDENTS
Student Showcase
Thank you to those of you who performed at our recent music showcase, we’re very proud of all our awesome performers! The website has been updated with the new showcase page and the picture of our performing students. Videos will be edited and uploaded by the end of this week.
TAEKWONDO STUDENTS
Red & Black Belt Training
Red Belts and Black Stripes, here’s a quick reminder for the upcoming training. This will take place on Sunday 11th May at Kirkby Leisure Centre at 10am (1st/2nd kups), 11am (1st/2nd dans) and 12:45pm (3rd dans+).
Please remember this is CASH on the door (£7 Red belts, £10 Black belts). Make sure you bring your licence to be stamped.
Upcoming Championships
The Welsh championships is on the 18th May (Cardiff).
The BTC championships is on the 8th June (Worcester).
The World championships is on the 19th July for colour belts and 20th July for black belts (Glasgow).
Colour Belt Grading
The next colour belt grading is on the 14th June at 12:30pm (Belper LC).
Demonstrations
We also have a couple of demonstrations coming up this year and we’d like as many students as possible to be a part of them (Tigers included).
Little Eaton Carnival is on the 5th July (outside Little Eaton Village Hall)
Woolley Moor (GM Towndrow Memorial Demonstration) is on the 16th August.
